Our Core Program is Education

At Light Empowerment Foundation, we believe that education is the key to unlocking a brighter future for vulnerable and marginalized children. Our core program is dedicated to providing access to quality education, empowering children to break the cycle of poverty and reach their full potential. Through our education program, we provide scholarships, educational resources, and support to ensure that every child has the opportunity to succeed and thrive. By investing in education, we’re investing in a future where every child can live a life of purpose, dignity, and hope.

Education

Provide equitable and quality access to Education to children in vulnerable communities

  1. Improve Access to Education support for vulnerable children and orphans.
  2. Empower communities to be able to support children from vulnerable families.
  3. Create support mechanisms through alumini networks.

  • Number of Children assisted with education support
  • No of community coaches and mentors trained
  • Number of alumini graduation sessions held
  • Number of alumini mentorship sessions held

Health

Help ensure provision of food and nutrition, clean water, shelter, basic medical care, access to nutrition and safety to vulnerable communities in the world.

  1. Improve access to quality health services.
  2. Sensitize communities on basic health practices.
  3. Offer psychosocial support to vulnerable women and children that are living in families affected with terminal or other difficult to treat illnesses and diseases such as cancer, HIV, diabetes, sickle cell, acid sufferers etc.
  4. Provide affordable housing for the homeless

Empowerment & Livelihood

Foster interconnected and culturally vibrant connected communities in which poor communities have the tools and opportunities necessary for job creation and self-sustenance.

  1. Improve resilience and livelihoods of communities.
  2. Promote Youth Skilling and employability.
  3. Contribute to house hold income improvement (through provision of microfinance, cash for work schemes Village Savings Groups etc.).

Governance & Leadership

  1. We promote servant leadership and accountability at all levels of the organization.
